I went to the zoo!

On Friday, Mummy and Daddy took me to the zoo.

I saw a lot of different animals. My favourite animals were the elephants. I can do a really good elephant impersonation!

While we were watching the elephants one of them did a really big poo.   So now, wherever I see a picture of an elephant, I yell out ‘poo!’ and giggle

At the zoo, there is also a special cage where small children can play with the moneys. I liked that very much. I think the monkeys are some kind of pussycat. That’s why I said ‘meow meow’ to them.

Yesterday, I was a very good girl. I didn’t wear nappies the while day, and I didn’t have ANY accidents.

  Madla,

  I have lots of problems spelling your name, but I see it changes (depending on whether it’s on certificate for dancing, your blog or your birth certificate !?). So, it seems you are getting a good grasp of the English language, essential for communicating as you traverse the zoo animals around the world.
  I am travelling to Dubai, then onto Paris (18 July) and will be quite close-by to you in Luxembourg…relatively speaking, compared to N.Z.
  We have some plans, that ‘might’ include Czech Republic but there’s also invite received for Mauritius and I like to “fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants” (ask Daddy) when I travel so who knows where I might end up ?

  It would be great to see you, don’t know if you have “Kiwi” down yet as one of your words – but “meow” would seem to adequately cover off a few species, in any case….

  Hello Aunty Jan,

  My actual name is Magdalena, but a lot of people call me either Madla or Monkey.

  You can spell Magdalena a lot of different ways if you are trying to be cute or need to because, for example, the domain name you want is already gone. That’s why this blog is called Magdalenka.

  As you can see from my dancing certificate – other variations are also possible.

  Hi Madla,
  Haven’t seen the blog for a few weeks now that I talk to you regularly on Skype. Thought Daddy had given it up. He should continue as it will a great record later on. The zoo would have been lots of fun. What a lot of strange creatures there are.
  Hear you can now swim the length of the local Olympic pool. Well done, Daddy tells me he is gradually letting out the air in the floaties
  so next thing you will be swimming with floaties without air and then you can throw them away.let me know when that happens.
